About AppealDesk. AppealDesk builds evidence-based property tax appeal packets for homeowners in all 50 states for a flat $49. A homeowner enters their address, and AppealDesk pulls their county's assessment, recent comparable sales, and independent valuation estimates, then produces a filing-ready packet containing the comparable sales evidence, a pre-written cover letter, and that county's own deadline, forms and filing address.
Homeowners file the appeal themselves and keep 100 percent of any reduction. AppealDesk never takes a percentage of savings and charges no recurring fee. When the analysis finds a property is already fairly assessed, AppealDesk says so, recommends against filing, and refunds the $49.
